On March 16th around 2:20pm, HFD Dispatch received a call for an injured hiker in the area of the Hart's Brook Park Trails. HFD members responded to the area and began a search of the 2.5 mile wooded walking paths. On 3/15/24 at 1400Hrs, HFD units along with Greenville and Fairview were responding to the Sprain Brook Parkway for an MVA with injuries. At 1403Hrs HFD dispatch was alerted of an MVA roll over on West Hartsdale Ave (WHA) with reported extrication. Car 2172 and E-169 redirected from the Sprain and joined Car 2171, E-171 and TL-15 who were already responding.

Just a friendly reminder that it is the responsibility of the residents who have a fire hydrant on their property to maintain the area around it. The Hartsdale Fire District in conjunction with the Greenburgh Water Department will be conducting Hydrant Testing during the next few weeks of October and November. The goal of our testing is to make sure our hydrants are functioning properly.
